Man claims 6-year-old son found bullet in bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos

These Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Puffs were really packing heat!

A 6-year-old Montana boy apparently found a bullet at the bottom of his snack bag in an incident the company called “troubling.”

Bow Horn Weasel, of Elmo, Montana, told TMZ that his son found the round, covered in red coating, inside the Frito-Lay snack, which was bought at a local convenience store.

Weasel contacted the company on Facebook and sent an email to alert them that the snack was packing ammo, TMZ reported.

A Frito-Lay rep told TMZ that the company is committed to ensuring the quality and safety of its products.

“This situation is highly unusual and troubling, and we have already taken steps to investigate and attempt to identify the root cause,” the spokesperson told the outlet.

Bow, who scoffed at people who doubted their claims, said he wasn’t looking for compensation – just that he wants Frito-Lay to make sure a mistake of this caliber doesn’t happen again.

The alleged find comes just two weeks after a man claimed he found “shrimp tails” in a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
