12-year-old Queens boy steals family car, drives away with sister to NJ

A runaway 12-year-old took his little sister on a joyride in the family’s stolen Range Rover on Monday, motoring all the way from Queens to New Jersey, police said Monday.

The two were reported missing around 10:40 a.m. from their home near 115th Street and 133rd Avenue in South Ozone Park, according to police.

New Jersey State Police had spotted the white Range Rover Monday afternoon after the siblings passed through Staten Island into the Garden State, police said.

It was unclear where they were last seen or if cops had caught up to the two.

Authorities were tracking the SUV through E-ZPass readers.

The NYPD sent out a citywide alert searching for the two, asking the public to help track down the SUV with the plate KGD4611.

It was not believed the two were in any danger, sources added.
