Pence introduces astronauts for future moon mission

Vice President Mike Pence spoke about the future of the space program on Wednesday during a visit to the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. He discussed the mission to get astronauts back to the moon by 2024 under NASA’s Artemis program, and introduced a group of astronauts who will take part in that ambitious mission.

“The Artemis generation are the heroes of American space exploration in the future,” Pence said.

The vice president will be leading final National Space Council meeting during his visit, WKMG reports.
